Is possible save "my favorites" in www.openstreetmap.org ?

Hi people,

Is there any way to save “my favorites” in www.openstreetmap.org ? Or only can I do in another services that uses OpenStreetMap?

Not directly, but you’ll notice that the current location, map layers and overlays are hardcoded into the current URL, so a browser bookmark may do exactly what you want.

All things have ID’s in OSM, and you can refer to these ID’s, eg www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2424040

Of course, these ID’s can change all the time, because of real changes or someone remapping the thing. It’s complicated, but it’s supposed to be possible to link permanently to OSM objects, see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Overpass_API/Permanent_ID
