I regularly encounter this issue on JOSM when I want to download an area… However, it is not particularly large, and at other times, I am able to download even larger areas…
How can I prevent this issue from occurring again?

Il y a peut-être trop de données dans la zone… essaie le plugin “continuosDownload” pour télécharger une petite zone de base, puis faire glisser la carte pour télécharger d’autres zones automatiquement.
There might just be too much data in the area… give the “continuosDownload” (sic) plugin a shot to download a smaller area, then drag the map around to download more automatically
