Hi all, I might setup a guided import/maproulette task for the openbenches.org data. As the moat of the dataset is in the UK (25K benches in the UK, “only” 2K outside), I’m doing a separate post here in the UK community.
I’d however like to keep the talk concentrated in this forum thread
Just for the avoidance of doubt, “here” is not the “UK community” - it’s the “general talk” category of community.osm.org. For the UK community I’d suggest here for the bit that’s on the left-hand island and here for the bit that’s on the right-hand one.
Alternatively, you can use tags at community.osm.org in much the same way as categories, so https://community.openstreetmap.org/tags/c/help-and-support/7/united-kingdom can almost be thought of as a “virtual category”.
