Howto properly map a hotel with multiple buildings within a (vacation) resort

I tried to help @Dan_Westlake to better map a hotel within a (vacation) resort but have to admit that I am not enough familiar with this kind of resorts and additionally I am not familiar with tagging hotels in details. I took a look at Tagging a business that spans multiple buildings? but it did not answer our questions. • I have used a MP-Relation for the hotel (Relation: ‪Bluegreen MountainLoft‬ (‪18135070‬) | OpenStreetMap) but how do we properly mark the office (Node: ‪Bluegreen MountainLoft‬ (‪12167851699‬) | OpenStreetMap) and the reception (Node: 12231987093 | OpenStreetMap)?
  • How to name the individual buildings? Is name=* correct or is ref=* the proper key?
• Is a named landuse=residential the correct way to tag the whole resort (Way: ‪Mountain Loft Resort‬ (‪1080167478‬) | OpenStreetMap)
• Is it correct to use “MountainLoft” as one word or should it be spelled in two words?
  • TIGER has the street (Way: ‪Mountainloft Way‬ (‪238105563‬) | OpenStreetMap) as “Mountain Loft Way”.

As usual, there are multiple legitimate ways to map certain features. Others may disagree with my suggestions, which is fine.

• The tagging and geometry of the hotel multipolygon relation (#18135070) looks great to me!
• In this case, I recommend using ref=1, ref=2, and so on for the individual buildings. Since the aforementioned outer hotel area already has the name, personally I would omit the hotel name from each building.
• I’m not sure how to tag a “cabin rental area”. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can chime in here.
• Definitely the answer to MountainLoft vs Mountain Loft is “However it’s marked in reality”. Looking at ground-level imagery, looks like MountainLoft is correct.
