How to show a map in my browsers preferred language?

Hi,

while having a look at foreign countries’ maps I found out that OSM shows city names in their own native language, but not the preferred language of my browser.
Therefore maps of e.g. Asian countries are unusable for Western users.
I already did some research and found out that there are foreign language name tags (e.g. name.de) given for the city and OSM Nominatim uses them for its search. However, the OSM map renderer ignores my browsers preferred language settings and shows the city name in Asian letters.
Is there a way to make OSM show the map in my browsers preferred language?

Most OSM maps on the internet are static and you can’t change the language.

• render your own OSM map
• use a OSM map which shows for example English names: http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=9/31.4591/35.4584&layers=Q
• Apps like Osmand or Maps.me do show your prefered language
• Mulitlingual Map Test: http://mlm.jochentopf.com/
• Vector tiles: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Vector_tiles
