How to map interceptor barriers from The Ocean Cleanup.

The Ocean Cleanup installs barriers to stop trash to go into the Oceans. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muFlbOPkWXg . They give the exact locations. But how can you map that?

INTERCEPTOR 008 BARRIER
RAE TOWN GULLY
17°57’51"N 76°46’30"W

INTERCEPTOR 009 BARRIER
KINGSTON PEN GULLY
17°57’54"N 76°48’06"W

INTERCEPTOR 010 BARRIER
BARNES GULLY
17°57’47"N 76°47’02"W

I’ve mapped a debris barrier with waterway=weir, but it’s not ideal. It was the best I could find at the time.

I’ll be watching this thread in case anybody has a better answer.

The wiki has a page for waterway=floating_barrier. While not used much, this seems to be the most appropriate tag.

Maybe https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/inlet=screen ?

This and outlet=screen were conceived for culvert and pipe portals. Question remains for open water channels.
