I want to make notes on road design issues, hazardous junctions, potholes etc. in my area to share using direct URL links with non-users. So that anyone can open OSM.org and see my notes related to the piece of road with the problem. I registered and made some notes using “Add field” drop down item in the edit box. But I could not figure out how to see my own notes or understand how to share these. What is the correct way of doing this, if there is one? Thanks. (Windows 10, up-to-date browser)
Hello and welcome, while some of your considered use cases can lead to changes in OSM data (e.g. many potholes that lower road quality), others like design issues do not. We map the world as it is regardless of beauty or quality. Nevertheless you could use OSM as background data with tools like uMap and create your own spatial notes sharing system.
