How should I tag horizontal logs that are on beaches for people to lay against, or sit on?

I think in the GoMap mobile editor I use when i’m out it has a point type for amenity=bench, but i’m not sure if that’s right for larger logs like this.

Yeah, I’m not sure I like amenity=bench for this. It just doesn’t feel descriptive enough, but perhaps I’m overthinking it.

amenity=bench + bench:type=log (Wiki) is probably the closest and most well-established tag.

Why not use barrier=log for them?

Because the intention here is not to block an area, but to create a place to sit.
