How Do I Upload Addresses from CSV into OSM?

Sorry for this rookie question but… I just recently started exploring OSM. I regularly use Google My Maps to create maps to embed into articles. For instance, I made a map that shows all public swimming pools in a city. This is obviously a simple process in Google My Maps. I uploaded a CSV with addresses and then just changed the pin icon to one that suited my needs. The problem is that Google Maps is very limited in how I can present the data on the map (for instance, if I want there to be a text label with each pin, there doesn’t seem to be a way for me to change the typeface or size of the text label) and someone suggested that OSM would be much more flexible for me. The problem is, I can’t seem to find any way to upload a spreadsheet of addresses ot have OSM automatically populate the map. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for helping out this rookie.

For an equivalent of Google My Maps, you might be looking at something like uMap: https://umap-project.org/
(disclaimer: I haven’t used it myself, but I see it being referenced a lot)

Facilmap.org might be easier to use, as it includes a geocoder (means that you can input addresses, and not only coordinates).

I’m not sure about the import from CSV, but it’s worth a try. …
