How do I import gpx files into Osmand on my iPhone5

I managed to intstall OsmAnd on my iPhone and to install two free maps.

Now I’d like to see on those maps some tracks and POI’s which are contained in GPX files stored on my PC.
I connected the iPhone to a usb port on my PC (Windows10).

The Help on the OsmAnd website didn’t help much :

“To open a GPX file in OsmAnd, just download it and select OsmAnd as an app to open it.
That’s it: you’ll view the file normally in the application.”

More detailed information about how to proceed would be appreciated.
Thank you

Since I’m not familiar with transferring files from PC to iPhone I can’t help you with that specifically.

My way to import gpx files to osmand is usually via a cloud service. I upload the file on my PC to Drive/Dropbox and open it afterwards in those apps directly. Usually prompts me with a selection of apps I can chose from (on Android though). As long as it is a .gpx though it should at least offer osmand for this step.
Hope this helps (and works for iPhone too).

There are also a couple of other ways to do this of course (like emailing yourself the file and opening it via iPhone etc).

Thank you kartonage for your time.

I could “take” time indeed, to try a few things out according your suggestions.
Unfortunately right now, first priorities are preventing me to put time into trials ; tough such things are usually quite simple (once one knows the Howto answer). Maybe someone has precise ready-made instructions ?
