How do I get an/the Access Token for OAuth 2.0 for JOSM?

Hello, I am currently figuring out how to set up OAuth to be able to map on OSM using the JOSM editor. I have finished registering my JOSM, but cannot find the access token anywhere. Without it, I am unable to map using JOSM. What do I do? I am not tech savvy in the slightest, a beginner friendly explanation is highly appreciated!

I’ve tried searching everywhere for a solution, but nothing was useful.

What version of JOSM are you using? The fact that you’re struggling might mean that you are using a very old version.

Hello! Thank you for responding.

It seems that the issue has been resolved. It turns out something with the OSM server was confusing JOSM’s ability to automatically register my JOSM with OAuth. Since I had the OSM server set to that of OpenGeoFiction’s API (which I assume you are familiar with) beforehand, it must have interfered with OAuth. I simply confirmed JOSM to be using OSM’s API and everything seemed to have worked out.
