How do I create a turn restriction from a way not immediately next to the intersection?

Coming off of a highway, there’s a “No left turns” sign before an intersection that’s immediately after the off-ramp (it’s a busy road and there’s not enough room for it at all). So, I’d like the GPS to be aware that I can’t turn left at that intersection when I’m coming from that off-ramp.

Is there a way to set a turn restriction relation here? The feature built into iD seems kind of restrictive if it is actually possible. Thanks!

You can have a way as the via part of a turn restriction, so you could have the off-ramp as from, the way in between as via, and then the left turn way as to. If you need to, you can have multiple via ways as well.
