How can I search and find OSM-tracks which were published by others

I published a GPS-Track in “https://www.openstreetmap.org/traces” successfully.

Now a friend would like to have this Track (without experience in OSM-Editing and publishing).

How can someone in this world find my GPS-Track ?
Importend: I used the Tags-Field which should it make easy to find my Track.

My solution is a little bit complicated and is a workaround:

  • Import the Track in Goolge MyMaps
  • Save it to the private account
  • open it in Google Maps
  • share the Track (via WhatsApp) to the friend

I have a similar question… surprising that no-one answered this one!

How to find an OSM GPS trace with a keyword search? The only way I could find is to type this link https://www.openstreetmap.org/traces/tag/keyword and replace keyword with the keyword that you want to search (case sensitive), but that’s not very elegant.

How to find an OSM GPS trace on the map? You can display an overview of them, but how to select a particular one that you want to use for editing the map?
