Wrong location shown on map how can I change it?

Are you referring to this way here?

If so, you can change it by clicking the edit button here…

That only allows me to change address. The address is correct but location on map is incorrect.

Perhaps you haven’t seen the edited version of my post? Apologies, I completely misunderstood the topic to begin with :sweat_smile:

The iD editor lets you change a lot more than just the address. If the correct location is close by, you can move the building by right-clicking or using the shortcut.

If it’s further away (i.e. off-screen), you can copy it with Ctrl + C (or the right-click menu option) and paste into the correct place with Ctrl + V or right-click again. Then you’d obviously need to remove the address from the original building.

In either case, make sure the geometry matches the building’s shape in the correct location

Or if you’d prefer, I could make the edit if you let me know the correct location :slightly_smiling_face:. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi I am having difficulty so would be most appreciated if you could make the change. So The Field Cuddyhouse Road Cowdenbeath KY4 KY4 9SR is currently showing at Cuddyhouse Livery KY4 9SR but it’s exact location is What3words hence.reserved.galaxy or point on map is
56.105819,-3.383716

Would be fantastic if you could fix this. Many thanks

So has the track been moved or removed, or is the building off to one side of it? I can’t find any imagery showing the building here so any info would be appreciated :)

That’s the entrance. The property is at the bottom of the drive/track. I want the map to show THE FIELD at that entrance point as that’s where my letterbox and parcel locker are and there are signs there that say The Field

Ah! So the building is in the correct location, but you’d prefer the address moved to the entrance to the property. Got it :sweat_smile:
