By chance, I recently stumbled across what is apparently a group of geography students at L’Université de Polynésie Française mapping as part of their coursework. They are all new mappers and apparently learning as they go. But along the way they’ve made a variety of mistakes ranging from trivial (buildings not square) to significant (accidentally deleting an entire atoll).
Since these are apparently students, I would like to review and comment on their changesets to help them learn more about mapping in OSM. Hopefully the comments will be well received and help them to fix their own mistakes. But if not, there may be some work to do to restore some inadvertently lost data.
As of today, there are almost 500 changesets and counting. The mappers are commenting in French and may not be fluent in English. My French is pretty rusty (I apologize for the automatic translation that follows!) So, I’m hoping to find some French speakers who might be willing to help review and comment on changesets.
Are there any mappers here who would be willing to help? French language skills would be a plus, and knowledge of mapping in Polynesia would be excellent!

Ce sont tous de nouveaux cartographes et ils apprennent apparemment au fur et à mesure. Mais en cours de route, ils ont commis diverses erreurs allant de triviales (bâtiments non carrés) à importantes (suppression accidentelle d’un atoll entier).
Puisqu’il s’agit apparemment d’étudiants, j’aimerais examiner et commenter leurs modifications pour les aider à en apprendre davantage sur le mappage dans OSM. Espérons que les commentaires seront bien reçus et les aideront à corriger leurs propres erreurs. Mais dans le cas contraire, il faudra peut-être faire du travail pour restaurer certaines données perdues par inadvertance.

Y a-t-il des cartographes ici qui seraient prêts à aider ? Des connaissances en langue française seraient un plus, et une connaissance de la cartographie en Polynésie serait excellente !
