Hi. How do I find the source of this road name ? Its a proper tarred road but the municipality cannot find record of it on their system ?

I found it using google maps, but i see now on osm its showing as maple drive continuously but that is also incorrect as maple doesnt go all the way to trenance drive

If you think Maple Drive is not properly mapped you should contact the mappers who worked at it. To find out, zoom in (the OSM map, not Google!) to Maple Drive, click on the icon
to show details and then click anywhere on the road.
You will then see a selection of objects in the left sidebar. Click on “Maple Drive” and you will the the actual tagging. Move down and click on history to show the history versions of this road and the names of the mappers working on it. You can then contact one of them and tell them about your findings.
