In the search for more mouse mileage reduction, may I propose that if one is on the topics listing page and the browser tab informs of new/updated topics having been added, it is enough to just hit ‘Topics’, the topic list is refreshed and scrolled to the top? The sidebar item is always in view, albeit, discovered yesterday on a tabled it’s possible to hide that sidebar, but who does on a modern wide screen display where the width of the topics list itself in limited.
This reduces mouse mileage and just do the action one handed rather than hitting Ctrl+F5 to refresh the page, or move mouse to top left of screen to hit the spinwheel. Hitting ‘Topics’ would just be enough to get 2 in 1 action.
PS, when at the top of the screen there’s actually 2 items, Latest and Topics that invoke the same link. I suppose if hitting Topics and there’s no new/updated topics, the list is filled from local cache, turning the link to just hyperjump to the top of the list, i.e. likely does not cause a lot of additional internet traffic.
