I recently discovered this community and I’m excited to contribute in the mapping of my local mountain biking trails in Santiago, Chile. I have some GPS data useful to draw the trails but I would like to know the consensus on tagging and other good practices for the mapping of this kind of features. I looked around but couldn’t find specific information on mountain biking mapping.
When you have a Garmin device, you might be interested in e.g. https://openmtbmap.org/ which is a dedicated rendering of OSM data for mountain bikers (I haven’t used it myself thought).
