Hello,
I tried to play around with gosmore for windows, but it crashes as soon as I start it.
I did not find any documentation that tells me more than that I have to click on gosmore.exe. Has somebody additional hints what I should do?

Tell us first what version of gosmore you are trying exactly, furthermore your used hardware and operating system.
and: where did you download the map data from? file size?
When using gosmore on WinMobile or windows (?), a log file is written right from the beginning of the programm, see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Gosmore
any hints there?
I loaded the current version (2011-02-21) from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gosmore/
First I tried to start it without additional map data. According to the wiki that should be possible. The program crashes at once without writing any logs. Then I tried to drop the baden-wuerttemberg.osm (2.471.356.631 Bytes) from http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/europe/germany/
This produces a lot of empty “.tmp” files but then the program crashes again wihtout writing a log.
My System is:
The system is a 32-Bit System.

Afaik, Gosmore cannot create PAK files on Windows, only Linux.
