Getting all the parts of a street

Hi,

I have a problem : https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search?format=json&limit=10&polygon_geojson=1&q=avenue+armand+huysmans,+ixelles,+belgique

The geojson coordinates cover not the entire street but only 2 little pieces at the botttom and at de top of the street. Is that a bug or an error ?

The objective is that : http://www.ixelles.be/site/plan.php?numtypeadr=38

This is not an error. The road is split in several pieces, so property changes (e.g. max speed) can be mapped.
You get 2 parts because part of the road is residential and part of it is mapped as tertiary.
AFAIK Nominatim will not return other parts of the road if they are also residential or tertiary. It only returns the “first” one it finds for each highway classification.
