Hi …I’m a newbee
I had bought a garmin nuvi255W since I was going abroad. This was some 8 months ago. Since then I used it about 5 times. However last week I was again going abroad so I needed it. The battery was flat and it took me some time to get it up again and before I left it worked fine. Then when I switched it on it worked for about three minutes and just went dead. You can imagine the situation!
Anyway, to cut a long story short I’m trying to resuscitate it. The battery is showing it’s full when I switch it on but it only works a few seconds and then goes dead again. How can I know if I have a problem with the battery or a problem with the unit itself?
