I have since 6 months a new mobile phone Oukitel C22 with Android 14, only 1 app is running and that is freemaps.
Why crash or freeze freemaps on it.
previous phone was a Oukitel wp18 with Android 8. That was always working but after 8years the phone blew up.
What is the problem and how can i solve it?

I can’t find an app just named “FreeMaps”. Which app are you referring to specifically? (preferably send a screenshot)
Either way OSM doesn’t have one single mobile app.

Whatever the app, you are better off contacting that app’s developer first. Especially when it seems closed-source. No one would have an idea why and how.

One thing that would help narrow down what app you’re actually talking about is to list the relevant play store URL. For Mapfactor Navigator, it’s https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mapfactor.navigator. If your app is different, please search the app store for it and post the URL.
As has already been said, you really need to talk to the app provider about this. Personally, I wouldn’t trust any app that can’t spell “OpenStreetMap” correctly (“… free offline maps from OpenStreetMaps …”)
