Ferry route not routing in OSM

On OSM, it shows a ferry route between Montserrat and Nevis. This also exists as a way (Way: ‪Montserrat-Nevis‬ (‪1243741932‬) | OpenStreetMap). However, when I try to route it walking between the ferry terminals, it says that there it couldn’t find a route between them on all three engines. Could someone help?

This seems also to be a problem with many ferry routes, e.g. St. George’s to Carriacou

The ferry was mapped an hour ago? The routers need some time to update the routing data.
However, the OSRM instance has problems with ferries:

It is not even an OSRM problem in general but rather one of the demo OSRM instance used at www.osm.org (please see also SomeoneElses comment above). E.g. this demo here: https://fast-routing-api.demo.routingapi.net/ is also based on OSRM but does route via the Gedser - Rostock ferry for cars. It also uses the direct ferry for the Poole-Cherbourg route. The Geofabrik OSRM router at GEOFABRIK // Routing with OSRM and GraphHopper does the same, also using the direct ferry routes for both examples. …

Valhalla and GraphHopper should work after an update.
