Extract node and keep it in relations

Is there a way to extract node from relation and keep it in relations in iD and JOSM…
E.g. bus stop is on the way and is part of 5 bus routes. How to extract it so that it remains in the relations?

I don’t completely understand your goal, but these tools in JOSM may be useful.
(Your hotkeys may differ; I customize mine)

“Tools” → “Disconnect Node from Way”

Existing node geometry: unchanged
Existing node tags and memberships: unchanged
Existing way geometry: updated to no longer include that node

“Tools” → “UnGlue Ways”

New node created at cursor location.
Existing node geometry: unchanged
Existing node tags and memberships: prompts choices
Existing way geometry: unchanged

With plugin utilsplugin2 installed:
“More Tools” → “Extract node”

New node created at cursor location.
Existing node geometry: unchanged
Existing node tags and memberships: moved to new node
Existing way geometry: unchanged

With plugin movemembership installed:
“More Tools” → “Replace Membership”

Existing nodes’ geometry: unchanged
Existing nodes’ tags: unchanged
Existing nodes’ memberships: moved to new node
