Drag and drop of local pictures (KDE) doesn't work

When I try and drag a picture from Dolphin (KDE file manager) into a “Create Topic” box there, there’s a green “+” suggesting that it ought to be droppable there, but it doesn’t work.

The “upload” button in the toolbar above the text in the “create topic” box does work.

Firefox 106.0.5, KDE, Ubuntu 22.04. Unfortunately I can’t easily screenshot the middle of a “drag” without releasing the mouse.

Ubuntu gnome works, so it might be KDE-specific issue?

Can you report this upstream so the devs can provide better insights and solve it?
