Can ferry routes have separate relations for each direction

What is the ideal method to map ferry routes?

Option A: 1 single way and 2 separate relations for each side, and 1 route master. eg: Whitehall to St. George and its reverse St. George to White Hall (12550923)
Option B: 2 separate ways, 2 relations and 1 route master
Option C: 1 single way and 1 relation only.

Particularly, I am trying to map the Kochi Water Metro network Relation: 17508068

Answer is going to depend on if you want to use PT version 1 or version 2. Option C would be version 1. Option B would be a little odd if the ferry doesn’t go a different way on the return journey. Option A is the PT version 2 approach.
