Beginner - Saving Maps

Apologies if this has been asked before. I tried searching and could not find the answer, and unfortunately it seems the tutorials aren’t up and running yet.

This is such a basic question, but I cannot figure out how to properly save my maps, or if I’m misunderstanding what should be under the dashboard. I have started a map, and saved the draft, but when I go into my dashboard nothing appears under My Maps.

I am very new to all of this, but am hoping to start delving into everything and start learning.

EDIT 2: Well I just figured it out, and you can all have a nice chuckle at my foolishness.

Somehow, through my various searches I suppose, I made my map on the German server, but I was trying to check my dashboard on the France server… I have no words, lol

Are you using uMap, or another application?

I’m assuming this is a question about uMap and have tagged it accordingly. If it isn’t, let us know and we can fix that.

Yes, this is using uMap. I’m just trying to understand the best way to save all my maps in the same area, etc.

When you save the draft, do you get a confirmation message “Map has been saved”?
