Any way to enlarge icons/pictograms?

Hello, i just discovered OpenStreetMap and have run into a problem. For some project of mine i would like to enlarge all or some pictograms like the shop, parking, church or museum pictogram so they’re more visible from a more zoomed out perspective. Is there any possible method to achieve this?

That suggests to that you want to create a map based on OSM data, in which case you definitely can - but we’d need to know a bit more about what you’d like to do before anyone can explain exactly how.

From your question it is not completely clear to me whether you are asking about the map on osm.org or about a different place, e.g. in a map editor like iD or josm or every door etc.
Speaking about the map, it is not currently possible to change this, because every user sees the same map, but it would be easier to implement when the new vector tiles based map goes live. https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/pnorman/diary/403600
If you want to render your own map tiles, it is possible by modifying OpenStreetMap Carto, the style behind the map on osm.org: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OpenStreetMap_Carto as it provides scalable vector images (svg) for the icons.
