Access Blocked - Tile Usage Policy

Hi,

I’m getting the “Access Blocked” error image

I understand this is due to a tile usage policy violation by the app.

  • Is my IP address blocked or is my OSM account affected?
  • Will this block expire automatically, or does the app’s developer need to fix it?

The app developer needs to fix it. See Technical updates to the tile.openstreetmap.org service (OpenStreetMap.org Standard Layer) for background.

depends on app, if it was mass downloader of tiles it could result in automated IP block - but if it is say about a missing referrer then just requests from that app will be blocked

are you user of app or developer of it?

as user you are unlikely to be able, except by convincing developer to follow Tile Usage Policy

(we do not even know which app it is)
