Ah! Thanks, I hadn’t seen this. I’ll follow up.

The 2 servers provided by AARnet became “render” servers (1, 2) for tile.openstreetmap.org when we replaced the CDN with Fastly.

The loss of these servers will negatively affect how quickly the OpenStreetMap default style updates for Australian mappers, the map will also load slower. We (Ops team) are likely going to have to send the backend traffic to Europe to be able to cope, as the North American servers are already struggling.
