3D mapping: how to tag walls with different colours without height tags?

Thread for 3D enthusiasts. In OSM, some people map Gundams, and then there’s me. I need your help figuring out how to map this scenario in 3D, the following example looks like it was done with crayons but it should get the idea across.

It’s a two-story building with a gabled roof. The walls are green on three sides. On the fourth side, the first floor is yellow and the second floor is blue.

How would you tag this without height tags? Suggestions welcome.

I am no expert on this an I am unable unfortunately to offer any constructive advice. Of course building:part plays a role in this, but I gave up trying on discovering that individual 3D renderers interoperate data in specific ways

According to the “tools” I would try it by:

  • A yellow three angle with height x
  • A blue one with min height x and height 2x
  • A green part, covering the remaining footprint
    All flat
  • The roof as extra part with min height 2x and height 3x

Sheeting may work too, with a good editor:

  • The building in red/green
  • 2 really small parts at the wall
