Zoom level on search

I find it puzzling how the zoom level is set after doing a search.
So for example if I search for a suburb eg ‘Hangingwater’ (which is Sheffield UK) I get what seems a reasonable zoom level.

But if I search for a postcode (which is much more specific to a street or so) eg S11 7ED

It shows the entirety of Sheffield, which is not what I (nor I suspect many other people) want.

Is there a way to set default levels of zoom? Or could site default zoom for postcode be changed?
