tags. The eventualist in me says someday I’ll get around to making a MapRoulette challenge for mappers to give these crossings another once-over.

. In discussing my proposal for extending crossing:signals=*
, I’ve been reassuring folks that yes
would remain a valid alternative to the more specific values I’m proposing. Mappers from some countries had been flustered that I was overcomplicating the key with a distinction that’s totally unnecessary in their orderly country. But maybe the community would actually prefer the more specific value because it looks less redundant. I’ll have to think about that some more.
This was more or less my experience too at one point. I think I could’ve avoided turning my own city into such a hodgepodge if I had sought more clarity from the global community about what these tags really meant.
Let’s be nice to these animals; they’ve done nothing wrong to us.
