hi, something’s wrong/missing on your sea-border. Tried to fix it but could not manage it
so i reverted my own corrections and now i’m a little bit confused.

I have returned the border to be no more than ~22km from the land
Changeset: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/15956826
Hi,
I was thinking of creating the Territorial Sea in a computational way, based on the Maritime Baseline of Israel, and in accordance to the OSM guidelines here
However, the baseline is expected to be at low-tide, while currently it is about 200 meters from it. Note that the distance from high-tide to low-tide on the Israeli shores the Mediterranean Sea is usually less than 10 meters.
Does anyone know a reason to have the maritime baseline set in that way?
Does anyone know what other uses can the maritime baseline have?
Bottom-line: Can I correct and complete the Israeli maritime baseline?
Thanks!
Zeev
thanks,
that’s what i planned to do, but i was not shure if the 22 km or 200? km border is ok for you.
Regards
walter
Walter,
12 Nautical Miles (approx. 22 km) are the usual distance for Territorial Sea.
Check the OSM guidelines for additional details.
