Wrong County shown for Solva, Pembrokeshire when linking to Strava teams formation

When creating a Team in Strava, apparently the location data comes from OpenStreetMap. The location, Solva, is shown as “Carmarthenshire” which is geographically wrong. How do I change this in Strava or here?

What and who is affected by this issue/request?

Where on the platform does it happen?

How do we replicate the issue?

Expected behavior (i.e. solution)

When I search “Solva” in OSM, Pembrokeshire is one of 4 results.

Changing the search to Solva Pembrokeshire gives Solva pembrokeshire | OpenStreetMap, while searching for Carmarthenshire gives Relation: ‪Carmarthenshire‬ (‪57534‬) | OpenStreetMap

Everything certainly seems OK in OSM, so I think you’d need to talk to Strava?

Thanks. Had long conversation with Strava chatbot. This is now escalated to a human. Lets see!

I’ve always found that to be a waste of time, as I inevitably know more about the subject than the bot that I’m asking for help does! :roll_eyes:
