Would somebody mind fixing this bus route relation please?

This is by far the first time I’ve asked for help with an intractable bus route relation, and I suspect it won’t be the last - but as a user of ID editor, this is another one that has defeated me - maybe someone can fix it in JOSM…? :folded_hands:

Unfortunately it is a partial round-trip with two additional out-and-back-again spurs, which both the Relatify and Geofrabrik validators seem flummoxed by.

The correct order of the stops can be seen from Translink’s open data on Bustimes.org at N12 - Crumlin Road & Oldpark Road – Translink Metro – Bus Times (and also in Translink’s own app).
I think I have done all I can with it in ID :frowning:

If anyone can debug it in JOSM that would be much appreciated :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

The ways making up the turnaround at Wolfhill are incorrectly sorted. They are almost at the bottom (the last 3 are correct, the 4 before that are not). The ways must be sorted by the order in which they are visited.
There may be other problems, but that’s the one I found and that the Geofabrik validator complains about.

yes, this the thing - the ID editor put those ways in the wrong order. It’s a longstanding bug where ID spontaneously reorders relations. It’s almost impossible for me to fix in ID - you can spend ages trying to manually put them back in the right order, then it just wrecks it again when you save. :sleepy_face:

I’ve fixed it for you using iD 2.37.3. Afaict, the order is now correct. Please check in time when the update has gone through the validators.

Fixed a gap in the route in JOSM.

To verify, should the end of the route be at Mater Hospital (as it is currently), or should it return to the start?

it just goes back to the Mater Hospital (presumably so they can drop off any passengers who got stabbed during the journey at A&E :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)
