WordPress Events Calendar - allowing OpenStreetMap for Venue location

General talk

The Events Calendar is a plugin for WordPress which allows a website to show a calendar of events, including their location, but only as a Google Map.

I have just put in a request at OpenStreetMap as alternative mapping provider for Event Venue | WordPress.org to ask for OpenStreetMap to be available as an alternative.

If you would find this useful, and could expand on this please follow up on the topic there

I don’t have an account there, so can’t vote.

One important issue is privacy - the cookies associated with Google Maps are all-pervasive and intrusive.
