WingsUp! - cuisine=chicken or cuisine=wings

Hi there,

I made a draft PR to close an issue regarding adding WingsUp! to the NSI.

However, I’m unsure if I should tag it with cuisine=chicken or cuisine=wings. The locations currently mapped on OSM are split between the two tags.

See their menu. They do offer other food than wings, e.g. sandwiches, bites, sides, but their main offering and their identity seem to be centered around wings.

have you tried inviting people who mapped this objects to comment here?

I just sent out 7 messages to people who mapped a WingsUp in the past and are still active, inviting them to join the discussion.

I think I only incidentally touched one of these shop POIs and don’t have strong feelings about it.

But from a non-mapping regional-public perspective: people in Ontario generally refer to wingsup’s primary food as wings. And kfc’s as chicken.

Looking through other presets seems to align with this?

Wings seems like the main focus, so I’d definitely include that, but you can do both as cuisine=wings;chicken (or vice versa, order doesn’t matter according to Key:cuisine.

Yes, both is fine. The cuisine tag often have multiple values with the ; separator.

Maybe:
cuisine=chicken
chicken=wings.

wings;chicken means nothing more than chicken. Or do you have poultry wings for instance?
