Ich möchte feststellen, was für eine gegebene Straße die Höchstgeschwindigkeit ist. Da diese bei vilen Straßen nicht expliziet angegeben ist, würde ich dise gern per allgm. Wert (z.b. 100 km/h für Landstraßen außerhalb von Ortschaften) bestimmen.
Es gibt zwar , aber wenn ich ein solches passiere, weiß ich immer noch nicht, ob ich aus einem Ort heraus oder hinein gefahren bin. Bei natlos aneinander grenzenden Orten passiert sogar beides gelichzeitig.
In general, geocoding tools will work out what they think the area covered by the place is and then decide whether any feature is inside or outside it. If you want to explicitly indicate which parts of the way are inside and outside, you should split the way on the boundary and use is_in tags to make the place explicit. It will be more a case of in A or in B, than in A or not in A.
