I hope you can help me, as Eggie is currently unavailable.
First, I would like to provide some context about our business. At Oscar Car Rental, we operate as a franchise-based car rental platform. This means that local dealerships and auto repair shops can become partners and rent out their vehicles through our platform. As a result, our Oscar rental locations are often situated within the same building as the dealership or workshop, but they are separate businesses and should be treated as such.
I would appreciate a brief explanation of how these locations should be set up correctly in the Netherlands. To be honest, I find the system somewhat unclear, and despite several rounds of communication with Eggie, I have not been able to make any progress.
I sincerely hope you can help clarify this for me.
As additional information, if relevant, the data needs to be registered in OpenStreetMap (OSM) so that third-party services such as Flitsmeister can retrieve and use it.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Kind regards,

To be honest, it actually makes things a bit more confusing for me. Over the past several weeks, I have tried creating our locations in multiple different ways, and each time Eggie has come back and informed me that the setup was not correct or would not work as intended.
Would it be possible for you to explain how this specific Oscar location in Zaltbommel has been mapped? In particular, I would like to understand which of the approaches I have previously suggested or attempted corresponds to this setup.
If this location is indeed mapped correctly and according to the desired structure, can I then use the exact same method for creating all of our remaining Oscar locations?
A clear example or brief explanation would be extremely helpful, as I am currently struggling to understand which approach is considered the correct one.
When You see the history via JOSM: first note was from @Oscar Car Rental (You? or collague?) at 18-05-2026 and after that an edit from @A67-A67 at 25-05-2026
When searching by address and there is already another business mapped at that address, the correct approach is to create a separate node for the new business, as I have done previously, and then that will be approved?. My secound picture attached is a screenshot of that scenario right?
On the other hand, when searching by address and only an address node with BAG data is present (without an existing business mapped to it), the correct approach is to add the relevant information, such as amenity=car_rental and other applicable tags, directly to that existing address node, as shown in the example in the first picture, rather than creating a new node.
I will now try to create one of each type. Once they have been created, could someone please review and approve them so we can make sure everything is set up correctly and works as intended?
Your explanation regarding the name and branch information makes perfect sense. However, I am not sure I understand the issue with using the following URL:
So for both locations I would recommend changing the name to name=Oscar Autoverhuur, and set the branch=* tag correctly, and add these brand-tags to each one:
