Why is JOSM noteSolver changeset comment automation not working?

Hi,

I want to use the notesolver plugin in JOSM.

I managed to install it (easy). I can now comment and close notes from within JOSM and then upload the new note state. However, what is not working is this:

When you prepare the changes for upload, the Changeset comment will contain “Closes https://www.openstreetmap.org/note/{NoteID}” for every Note that’s in the list. If you confirm the question for automatic resolve with Yes, every note will be closed with “Resolved with Changeset https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/{ChangesetID}”.

Can anyone help? Do I need to tick some checkmark or something?

Since you posted the noteSolver GitHub repo at the beginning, did you just happen to be on the list of open issues as well? Whether the answer is yes or no, you seem to have overlooked this. :slight_smile:

Wow. I didn’t read through all of this; sorry. But I’ve managed to find the short answer in it:

First upload the resolved note – then the changeset.
