Hello, good morning/afternoon/evening. I’ve been having problems with the OpenStreetMap, JOSM, and Vespucci websites for the past two weeks, both on my PC and my phone. When I try to access the site or load data, the website displays an error message saying it’s taking too long to respond. On JOSM and Vespucci, the data simply doesn’t load. I’ve discovered that I can access the site or load data using a VPN or a different Wi-Fi network. I don’t know why this is happening. Could someone please help me or tell me how to fix it?
Sounds very much like you are trying to access the API from a network that is blocked in some form. In any case there is nothing that can be done here to determine if that is the case if you don’t give further details, if you don’t want to do that you should ask the sys ops for help support@openstreetmap.org
So exactly what happened was that when I tried to log in, the page wouldn’t load until it displayed an error message saying the page was taking too long to respond. Before that, I was editing normally and constantly checking my own and other people’s data.
