Where OSM hosts imagery?

Quick question:

It seems OSM itself hosts some imagery (Surrey/UK, South Africa, US CAPCOG 2022 etc), but I don’t remember exactly where these images are hosted.

My question is: in which repository should I open a PR to suggest some layers to be hosted by OSM? Or whom should I talk to?

I know a couple of layers in which we (OSM) have permission to use it, but hosting on our own, not using their WMS service.

PS.: I’m not talking about Editor Layer Index or JOSM index. :slight_smile:

There’s actually a quite detailed description of the process for some recent South African imagery.

I can help with hosting imagery. Ideally the imagery should be in Cloud Optimised GeoTIFF format. I can help with this conversion or you can get a dev server account (faffy) to process it there if needed.

I am happy to share my gdal based conversion scripts used for the South African imagery.
