What JOSM shortcuts do you know and use, and which ones do you think deserve to be known?

I use many JOSM shortcuts but I’m sure there are plenty I don’t know about, and I want to now more. I’m sure a lot of them could be useful to me!

So what keyboard shortcuts do you use on JOSM ? And specifically, among those who are the least well-known ?

The ones that I use frequently:

  • Alt-a - add property in the Tags window
  • Alt-s - change selected property in the Tags window
  • Tab - next field in the Tags window
  • s - select/select mode
  • a - add
  • p - split way on nodes
  • c - combine ways
  • g - un-glue selected node
  • J - join area’s
  • f - follow
  • z - remapped to download current displayed area
  • Alt 0-9 - Enable/disable layer
  • Alt-x split area on line
  • I - connect intersecting ways
  • Ctrl+Shift+↑ - Upload data (verify modified data)
  • H - open custom URL (via utilsplugin2)
  • F12 - preferences
