Ways for recording "Chiefdom halls" (chefferie) in Cameroon

In Cameroon, the local authority is organised on two layers: the governmental and the traditional. The later plays in important role and is recognized as such by the national government. This traditional authority is called “chefferie” (in french) or “fon” in the english speaking part of the country (the local name).

The question here is, what Tag should be used for such entities. I feel like office:government is a bit too official for what it is when amenity:community_centre doesn’t reflect the responsibility given to the chief.

Has anyone faced that question? I understand that it could be something seen elsewhere in Africa, at least in the Bantou subregion.

office=government is the correct answer: even though the chiefdom’s customary role nowadays only exist on the margins not covered by formal legislation, their role is recognised officially.

So, the issue moves to choosing a government=* value. None of the existing ones seem appropriate. So, government=chiefdom ?

That may fit with chiefdom_degree= (15 occurences… Better than zero, I guess)to express the “administrative” level in that system parallel to admin_level (or would that duplication be misguided ?) - and chiefdom=* to contain the chiefdom’s name.
