Waste=dog_excrement for postboxes, fire hydrants, and parcel lockers

there are over 100 nodes mostly in cornwall using the dog excrement tag on post box, fire hydrants, parcel lockers, and benches. I strongly think a majority of them are incorrect. I don’t like to mass edit though, and the tags are committed alongside very detailed and good edits. Overpass query to show them

It’s focused on the Cornwall area, but not specifically querying it.

I looked at 5 random occurrences across Cornwall. They’ve all been added by RaccoonFederation. RaccoonFederation | OpenStreetMap over various years.

Have you tried contacting that user?

They don’t seem like a new or short-term user.
They may not have realised they did it.
They may be able to confirm why they did it or that they did so in error.
If so, they may then appreciate an offer to mass-edit all occurrences done by their user.

Maybe they are nodes that allow you to collect dog waste bags from them?

Most uk fire hydrants are underground with a plate cover. Not really something to attatch any other facility.
