using openstreetmap in open cpn

I’m interested in using a map of a particular lake in Austria.Is it possible to download and convert to a suitable format?

Everything is posible with OSM data …

What is a suitable format for your aims? Do you refer to http://opencpn.org ?

where you can search for “openstreetmap” or “openseamap”

Do you know http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OpenSeaMap ?

Try to get in contact with openseamap community to get detailed hints …

I don’t know openseamap in detail and have no solution for your aim, sorry
