Using iD online editor on Android tablet?

I tried to use the iD online editor an Android tablet with Chrome. I noticed strange behavior:

When I try to move the satellite picture it sometimes moves and zooms at the same time!

When I try to draw an area I can see properties only if I undo a point and draw again!

If I press Upload the edited area disappears with no message. The upload did not occur.

Is it intended that editing on an Android tablet is possible or is editing only on a PC possible?

Do you get the same behaviour if using iD through another browser? Firefox perhaps?

As far as I can remember, ID does not have a “touch” implementation, but works with mouse functions.

So it may be most convenient to use Android apps such as Vespucci, Every Door, Street Complete, etc.

I used it also on Android smartphone, and it worked though interface was clearly designed with PC in mind.

I would expect it to work better on Android with larger screen. For example

sounds like some kind of a bug.

I tried now Vespucci, it seems to work!

(Every Door and Street Complete are not full featured editors, so Vespucci is the only full featured editor which I know!)

On a tablet you might want to try the experimental split-window mode Advanced preferences - Vespucci, this has BTW been reworked for version 22 due some time this quarter (property editors with unchanged content get replaced instead of always being stacked as is the case in the current release).
