Using existing walking tracks to navigate

I’m an OSM rookie. I’d like to use existing walking tracks that others have uploaded onto OSM (using OSMand). Is there a way to say (for example) select a trail, or 2 points on the trail and then use the navigation function on OSM ? I’m also interested in distances of the trails too, ie. select a trail to work out distances or elevation profile.

How do I do this? I can’t even work out how to ‘select’ a trail :sunglasses:

You want to navigate along tracks using OSMAnd? You can long press on the screen and you get a marker and use that to enter that as the navigation destination. Be sure to select the walking profile.
