Good on him for going after funding if he needs it. It’s then up to the funder to decide whether to grant him money or not. So long as he does not make false statements in his application I am ok with that.

I’ve been looking for the grant application for NLnet; OpenStreetMap-NG but have been unable to find it available anywhere publicly. I would be very interested in seeing how the project was presented.
